NPF3, SPP and the Town Centres Review

An East of Scotland Chapter Event

Tuesday, 28 May 2013 at 5:45PM - 8:00PM
Dundee Contemporary Arts, 152 Nethergate, Dundee DD1 4DY, UK
Fully Booked
RTPI Scotland

The Chapter would be delighted to involve all town planners in this important event, which is extremely relevant to planning in the East of Scotland.

NPF3/SPP – Scottish Government

The Scottish Government will shortly be publishing two key consultation documents – the NPF3 Main Issues Report and the Draft Scottish Planning Policy and are keen to engage with the planning profession in the East of Scotland to discuss the content of both documents.

Town Centres Review – Nick Wright

Nick Wright is RTPI Scotland's representative on the Scottish Government's Town Centres Review panel - "Scotland's Portas review". He will give an insight into the panel's report, which is due to be published in late April and link this to the work on NPF3/SPP.  In his day job, Nick has worked in town centres from Kirkcudbright to Kirkwall, helping businesses, residents and public agencies collaborate to plan their common future.

Advanced notice of attendance is appreciated. Please contact Lorna Sim (Convenor) on to confirm attendance.
