The Green Deal, launched earlier this year, is the Government's
flagship policy to help householders and businesses increase the
energy efficiency of their properties. This afternoon seminar will
explain how the scheme works, what measures will be funded and what
impact this may have on local planning authorities. The event will
also explore opportunities to use the Green Deal and the Energy
Company Obligation (ECO) funding to help support regeneration and
reduce fuel poverty.
This event is being hosted jointly between the East Riding of
Yorkshire Council and Hull City Council.
