This free event, run in partnership
with the Scottish Government, will provide an opportunity for
planners and other built environmental professionals across both
the public and private sector find out more about the use of
processing agreements and their benefits. With worked examples and
a prospective from both a Planning Authority and a developer this
event promises to provide a useful insight into how we can move
forward with the use of processing agreements to speed up the
planning process.
There will be opportunity for
discussion with a workshop session on how we can better use
processing agreements and understand the challenges faced in
bringing them forward. The Scottish Government have produced
guidance on Processing Agreements (including a template for them)
which is available on the link below:

A light finger buffet will be
available on arrival.
