The Inspector will see you now - how to prepare for your examination

The NPPF gave twelve months until its policies take precedence over adopted policies that are inconsistent with its guidance.  This deadline is fast approaching and more and more Local Authorities are progressing their Local Plans through the Examination process.

This event has been designed to help those involved navigate through the process, drawing upon the knowledge and experience of Local Government Officers who have successfully achieved a recently adopted plan, the Planning Inspectorate for their advice and guidance and a mock examination session run by legal advisors to experience all this in practice.  There will also be a workshop and plenary session to discuss with attendees varying approaches and best (and worst?) practice from across the region, and seek the advice of the panel accordingly.
