In these uncertain times, how the natural environment will be protected and how enhancements are delivered is unclear.  The Natural Environment White Paper (2011) outlined the Government's vision for the natural environment over the next 50 year but what challenges does this present? How are developers securing a sustainable and healthy environment for the future and what do planners need to do?  This event will examine issues including climate change, biodiversity and flood hazard reduction through sustainable urban drainage systems, looking to identify how you should take on an ever-growing role in ensuring that the interests of the natural environment are addressed as part of the delivery of the built form.
