This Breakfast Masterclass will consider the Lochgelly Charette within the context of emerging thinking on place-based delivery.
David Thompson, Lead Officer - Urban Design with Fife Council, will discuss their experiences following the Lochgelly Charette.
The aim of the session is to provide an opportunity for those involved or interested in charettes to contribute to the development of an innovative and exciting aspect of the Scottish planning system.
The masterclass will be chaired by Craig McLaren, National Director, RTPI Scotland. Tea/coffee and light breakfast snacks will be provided.

The breakfast masterclass series is organised by RTPI Scotland in partnership with Biggart Baillie LLP and Halcrow/CH2M Hill. Each masterclass comprises a presentation from someone with expertise on a specific issue, followed by discussion. The events aim to be very practical in helping people to learn about experiences, lessons learned, good practice and new approaches to doing things.
