Description

Given the uncertainty in the UK economy and the impact that this has had on consumer expenditure and the performance of the high street, this full day event will seek to review the overall health of the retail sector and the implications for town planning in the future. In doing so, it will explore the role that can be played by supermarket investment in anchoring major redevelopment schemes as well as securing job creation. The event will also review any changes in the decision making process relating to retail development as part of the Government's emerging growth agenda and how this may shape retailing in your local area.
