University of Reading, Whiteknights Campus, RG6 6UR
RTPI South East

The choice of whether to engage with ourstrategic future is a test of our collective commitment to future generations. Ultimately it is also a test of our democracy itself.

Dr Hugh Ellis, Chief Planner of the Town and Country Planning Association, will be delivering a lecture entitled "The Lie of the Land; England in the 21st Century", based on the report of the same name to be published later this month. There will also be the opportunity for questions and answers.

Kindly hosted by the University of Reading and sponsored by Barton Willmore the lecture will be followed by refreshments and the chance for socialising, networking and discussion of the issues raised.

The RTPI South East Annual General Meeting will be taking place prior to this lecture.

The AGM will commence at 5.15pm in Room G15 of the same building.  This is your opportunity to hear about what we have been doing and what we have planned for the future, as well as bringing your own ideas to the table.  It is also your chance to join the Regional Activities Committee and really get involved in what we do.  If you are interested in running for RAC please email for more information or to request a nomination form; new volunteers are always welcome.
