Planning for Water and Flooding in Wales

The event is limited to RTPI member or officers working for Local Planning Authorities in Wales

As part of a West Wales Training Programme, funded by the Welsh Government's Planning Improvement Fund (PIF) and supported by Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Authority, Pembrokeshire County Council and Carmarthenshire County Council, RTPI Cymru is organising a seminar to discuss Planning for Water and Flooding.

The seminar will discuss:

  • Planning Policy and Guidance on flooding and coastal erosion
  • SuDS Approval Bodies
  • Shoreline Management Plans
  • Emerging Surface Water Flood Maps
  • Practical Examples of SuDS
  • S42 of the Flood and Water Management Act

Places are open to any and RTPI member or officer working for a LPA in Wales (although spaces are limited).
