Research at the Brighton Planning School is led by the School of Environment and Technology and current projects include:

INTERREG IVA 2 Seas Project: 21st Century Parks

The project aims to improve the attractiveness of towns and cities in the 2 Seas area and enhance the quality of life of inhabitants. The project will test the co-produced contemporary design plans and formulate Good Practice Guidelines for 21st Century Design Plans.

Water-based Recreation

The project is auditing the provision and use of water-related recreational facilities to inform strategic planning for the activity.

Enhancing Pebsham Countryside Park

The project aims to develop and enhance green space between Hastings, Bexhill and Crowhurst to create a sustainable, multi-functional area providing leisure, sport and educational facilities.
