The RTPI works in partnership with universities to develop and accredit planning qualifications which allow graduating students to progress towards Chartered Membership of the RTPI.
Important Information
All of the universities or awarding institutions listed on the left offer planning qualifications accredited by the RTPI, beginning at either undergraduate or postgraduate level. Each course is indicated as being either combined, spatial or specialist.
Students who wish to progress to Chartered Membership must have completed either a combined qualification or a spatial qualification and a specialist qualification:

Neither a spatial nor a specialist qualification by itself is sufficient to progress to Chartered Membership.
Qualifications that were accredited at the time of study, but are no longer available for new recruits, are not included in the list of accredited qualifications.
