To apply for Learning Partner status you submit documentation to show that your organisation meets four key commitments:
- Promoting Professional Development Activity
- Identifying, Monitoring and Reviewing Professional Development Activity
- Supporting Professional Development Activity
- Embracing Diversity and Equal Opportunities
Many organisations will already have excellent training and development policies and practice in place to be able to meet the standard. If you think your organisation meets the standard you just need to demonstrate this by submitting different types of evidence.
If your organisation does not yet have sufficient policies and practices in place, you may wish to use the criteria to develop more supportive practices to be able to meet the standard.
Apply using the RTPI Learning Partner application form and guidance.
Application Fees
The application fee for becoming an RTPI Learning Partner begins at only £250 (for five years) for the smallest organisations and increases depending on the size of the organisation and the number of Chartered Planners employed. This one-off fee allows the organisation to promote itself as an RTPI Learning Partner (including use of the logo and inclusion in the online list of RTPI Learning Partners) for a period of five years, and includes processing of the initial application and the annual monitoring return.
