RTPI Learning Partner Profile - Walsall Council Regeneration Directorate

The Regeneration Directorate is responsible for the development, co-ordination and delivery of sustainable regeneration across the borough of Walsall. The Directorate is comprised of Development and Delivery, Stategic Regeneration, Planning & Building Control, Housing Services and Property Services. The culmination of these services ensures the delivery of a joined-up approach to the physical, social and economic regeneration of the borough.

With over 1200 employees forming the directorate as a whole we are committed to staff training and development. The Directorate has a well represented Training Group that meet regularly to review new initiatives and look at inovative ways of training and developing staff which includes peer development, information sharing and shadowing as well as the more formal training and development courses.
