The RTPI works to maintain and raise the standards of spatial planning. We set expectations of competence and professionalism for our membership. We support these through education and Lifelong Learning. This section outlines our commitment to Lifelong Learning and Continuing Professional Development (CPD).

Members of the RTPI are committed to maintaining and developing their expertise through Continuing Professional Development (CPD). We support members in their CPD through a range of learning activities such as RTPI Conferences, RTPI Networks and RTPI Learn, our virtual learning environment. Regardless of career stage, education and learning opportunities are encouraged and supported by the RTPI through a wide range of initiatives, programmes and resources.
