Welcome to the East of England Young Planners’ page, where we will keep you up-to-date with the latest activities and events for young planners in the area. If you want more information, please get in touch with the young planners’ representative, Graham Bloomfield. 

APC EVENT,  WEDNESDAY 09 NOVEMBER 2011, 6pm for a 6.30 start

ORWELL ROOM, GRAFTON HOUSE, IPSWICH (IPSWICH BOROUGH COUNCIL OFFICES)

A free event from the RTPI with a presentation and Q&A  session with Philip Woodward, Senior Membership and Database Officer from the RTPI on the APC process. This is always a popular and useful event for Licentiates and this year represents an excellent opportunity to gain an understanding of the current revisions to the APC process. It is therefore highly recommended to all Licentiates looking  to submit in 2012.

Please note this event is not exclusive to Young Planners and may be of particular interest to Line Managers and Mentors of Licentiates given the proposed revisions.

Sub-regional groups

The region has formed a number of sub-regional groups and volunteers are always needed to help assist in events, suggest topics and venues. 

The sub-regions are:

• Cambridgeshire
• Hertfordshire & Bedfordshire
• Essex
• Suffolk and Norfolk 

There are also opportunities for close working between the different sub-regions, for example North Essex with Suffolk, and Cambridgeshire with Hertfordshire & Bedfordshire.
