- Description
The pace of the economic downturn has had a profound impact upon town centres, retail centres, business parks and industrial estates. The availability of local employment is clearly at the fore, but the cumulative impact upon vitality and sense of place can be equally marked. The vulnerability of some areas has been exposed, but it has also thrown up new opportunities to review the function of our commercial centres. Our guest speakers will explore how PPS4 will impact on regeneration and rejuvenation, and consider the case for flexibility, invention and innovation.
