Major changes are imminent in the way that both regional and district level development plans are prepared, with the Sub National Economic Development and Regeneration Review, the Planning Bill and changes to LDF procedures in revised PPS12. We will explore how these might have an impact on plan preparation in both the short and long term, with contributions from central and local government and from the private sector. There will be specific talks on planning in the new unitiaries, area action plans and putting together integrated housing, employment and open space land reviews to inform land allocation DPDs.
