Kindly sponsored by Savills and Local Dialogue, the RTPI held an invitation-only policy breakfast and a packed lunchtime fringe.

The breakfast, with new Planning Minister Nick Boles MP, offered the Minister an opportunity to listen to planners, developers, and stakeholders about how best to unlock growth.

Mark Pawsey MP (CLG Select Committee member) and Cllr Mike Jones (Leader,Cheshire West and Chester Council, and Chair of the LGA Environment and Housing Board) generously provided the keynote speaches for our packed lunchtime event. Entitled "Can planning help deliver the jobs and growth we need?", the fringe offered delegates to the Conference and RTPI members a forum to discuss the role of planning in the economy.
