Shortlisted companies vie for planning consultancy of the year awards
Ten companies are in the running for the Royal Town Planning Institute’s (RTPI) planning consultancy 2012-13 awards.
The shortlists for Small Planning Consultancy and Planning Consultancy of the Year, key categories in the prestigious RTPI Awards for Planning Excellence, are published today.
Four companies are shortlisted for RTPI Planning Consultancy of the Year: AECOM, Indigo Planning, Jones Lang LaSalle and Nathaniel Lichfield & Partners.
Six companies vie for the equally prestigious honour of RTPI Small Planning Consultancy of the Year: Brooke Smith Planning, Halliday Fraser Munro, LUC, Origin3, Planning Perspectives LLP, and Strategic Planning.
Dr Peter Geraghty, President of the RTPI, said: “The shortlists contain a roll call of some of best planning consultancies there are. In a period of slow economic growth, these firms demonstrate the highest standards of work, innovative approaches and techniques to achieve high-quality and imaginative planning and an exemplary commitment to staff development. Every shortlisted firm is impressive.”
The two Planning Consultancy of the Year awards seek to identify exemplary practice that meets the requirements of clients and the wider community and carries weight within the profession at large.
Judging for the two categories takes place over the next 6 weeks. The two winners will be announced on the 10 July at the RTPI Planning Awards for Excellence ceremony.
