Roberta Blackman-Woods MP, Labour's shadow planning minister, outlined Labour's views on recent planning reforms and the party's thoughts on what needs to be done, at RTPI's General Assembly - the debating chamber of the Institute.
Held in the Chesterfield Hotel in London's Mayfair, the shadow planning minister's appearance was part of the RTPI's ongoing programme of active engagement with decision makers.
Dr Michael Harris, Deputy Head of Policy and Research, gave an overview of the Institute's research projects earlier in the day. James Butler, Communications and Public Affairs Officer detailed the RTPI's party conference and political engagement activities.
