A vacancy has arisen on the Board of Trustees, following the resignation of a trustee, for Chartered Members of the Royal Town Planning Institute. The vacancy is for a term until 31 December 2014.
Membership of the Board offers an opportunity to have a central role in the work of the Institute.
The Board of Trustees is responsible for the management of the affairs of the Institute and promoting its objects. The members, together with the RTPI Chief Executive, are also the charity trustees of the RTPI, which is a registered charity.
The Board meets six times a year in central London, usually at the RTPI’s office. Meetings normally start at 11.00 am and finish in the late afternoon.
Membership of the Board offers an opportunity to have a central role in the work of the Institute and in areas such as setting strategic goals, accounting and financial planning.
