RTPI members in successful APC discussion

19 July 2012

RTPI members from across the world took part in a very successful discussion of the Assessment of Professional Competence (APC) on LinkedIn this morning.

APC is the process through which planners become Chartered Members of RTPI, by demonstrating their professional knowledge and experience. Topics covered today included completing your Professional Development Plan (PDP) to reflect your skills and experience, the most effective way to use the log book, and how to demonstrate awareness of the legal, political and ethical framework of planning.

All today's questions and answers are available to view, but you will need to join the RTPI LinkedIn group. If you have additional questions about the APC process or becoming a member of RTPI, please contact membership@rtpi.org.uk.
