RTPI members from across the world took part in a very successful discussion of the Assessment of Professional Competence (APC) on LinkedIn this morning.
APC is the process through which planners become Chartered Members of RTPI, by demonstrating their professional knowledge and experience. Topics covered today included completing your Professional Development Plan (PDP) to reflect your skills and experience, the most effective way to use the log book, and how to demonstrate awareness of the legal, political and ethical framework of planning.
