Regions produce mayoral powers advice

Expertise and experience from the RTPI's London, West Midlands and North West regions was pooled to produce views and guidance on new measures contained in the Localism Bill relating to the powers of mayors.

The paper covers a range if issues, including the creation of mayoral development corporations, their planning functions, and the proposed additional planning powers of the Mayor of London.

The RTPI has actively been involving members as it influences the passage of the Bill through Parliament.
