The RTPI is one of the largest professional institutes for planners worldwide. We employ approximately 85 staff across a wide range of professions in our offices in London and Edinburgh and working from home.

The RTPI promotes spatial planning and develops and shapes policy affecting the built environment while working to raise professional standards and supporting its members through continuous education, training and development.
Planning Aid England, part of the RTPI, provides free, independent and professional planning advice to individuals and communities who cant afford to pay professional fees.
