Board of Trustees Chartered Members

The following are elected for 2013 and 2014:

  • Vincent Goodstadt
  • Cullum Parker
  • Martin Willey

Chair of the Board of Trustees

  • Andrew Taylor is elected as Chair for 2013 and 2014.

General Assembly Student/Licentiate Members

  • Andrew Coulthurst, Sarah Hall and Hannah Lucitt are elected for 2013 and 2014.

Your chance to get involved with the RTPI

Each year, elections for a number of posts within the Governance framework of the Royal Town Planning Institute take place, during the autumn. With the Governance Review that has taken place now drawing to a close, the elections in autumn 2012 will differ slightly from those in recent years, to reflect transitional arrangements for the new constitutional structure.

Elections, where required, will take place during November, with the results announced in early December.

Trustee to represent Scotland

Following Privy Council agreement for the changes to RTPI's Royal Charter and Bye laws there was an election for a Trustee to represent Scotland on the Board from January 2013.

Ian Angus was elected for 2013 and 2014.

Fellows (FRTPI) and Ordinary Members (MRTPI) of General Assembly

Fourteen places for Fellows and Ordinary Members are available on General Assembly. These posts are open to all Fellows and Ordinary Members, supported by four other Fellows and Ordinary Members.

Fourteen nominations have been received, for fourteen places - all are therefore duly elected: Jim Claydon, Vincent Goodstadt, Rob Krzyszowski, Michael Lowe, David Marshall, Ismail Mohammed, Cullum Parker, Chris Shepley, Richard Summers, Ron Tate, Andrew Taylor, Phil Williams, Richard Williamson, Ian Wray.

Legal Member/Legal Associate representatives on General Assembly

One place is available for a Legal Member or Legal Associate representative on General Assembly. This post is open to all Legal Members or Legal Associates, supported by four other Legal Associates or Chartered Members.

One nomination has been received, for one place: Bernadette Hillman is duly elected.

Technical Member representatives on General Assembly

Two places are available for Technical Member representatives on General Assembly. These posts are open to all Technical Members, supported by four other Technical Members.

Two nominations have been received, for two places: Paul Bateman and Michael Crossley are duly elected.
